We meet for worship on Sunday in Bowden Kirk at 9.30am and in Melrose Church at 11.00am when we will be concluding our Christmas celebrations by looking at the Epiphany and the journey of the Magi to visit the baby Jesus.

The services in Melrose are livestreamed and you can watch on our Facebook page or church website. A worship podcast based on our Christmas services will be posted on Facebook and Instagram on Friday evening. You can listen on 01896 808551


Open Door

Come along to our weekly Open Door every Thursday, 10.00am-12noon, when the hall will be open for tea, coffee, company and chat. If you would like to join the rota of helpers there’s a sign-up sheet in the church kitchen. Thank you!


Melrose Historical & Archaeological Association:

On Tuesday, 10 January at 7.30 p.m. in Marmion’s@The Wynd, Margaret Fox will present an illustrated lecture – ‘Traquair’s Tenants, Cottars, and Workers’. All are welcome. Free to members. £4 for visitors.


Bowden Community Café

This continues to meet on the third Wednesday of each month in Bowden Village Hall at 11am. All welcome. Forthcoming dates are 18th January 2023 and 15th February 2023.


Messy Church

Our next Messy Church is on Sunday 22 January, 3.00-5.00pm. We have a planning meeting in Melrose Church Hall on Friday 13 January at 4.00pm. All interested in helping please come along.


Galashiels Foodbank

With the cost of living crisis it is anticipated that many will seeking help from the local Foodbank. Donations of food can be left at the pickup points in Galashiels at ASDA, M&S, Poundland, and Iceland, as well as Coop stores in Melrose and Earlston.
