Melrose Music Festival 2022
With heart felt relief it’s goodbye to two years of covid restriction. Spring is in the air, and we are back, dedicating this year’s Festival to The Healing Powers of Music. As always, the program is varied and fun. The Church of Scotland meets in General Assembly from Saturday 21 May through to Thursday 26 May. Sunday 29 May – Visitors… and a Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
We will be joined in both Bowden and Melrose by Tim and Carol Derbyshire from the Australian-based charity Hope From Above (HFA). They are staying with Ken and Anna Swinton in Bowden. HFA helps bring the gospel to unreached and inaccessible people groups, who cannot access the good news by their own initiative today. They do this by providing aviation and technical support to pioneering ministries. There will be a retiring offering in support of HFA.
Messy Church
We are having a Messy Church picnic and treasure hunt on Sunday 29 May, meeting in Melrose Church Hall at 3.00pm. You are asked to bring your own picnic. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All welcome.
Coffee After Church
Teas and coffees are available after the Melrose service in the Church Hall. All are welcome and if you would like to join the rota of helpers, please send a message to the office.
Choir Rehearsals
Choir rehearsals have resumed in the Church Hall on Sunday mornings at 10.00 a.m. New members will be made very welcome.
