Sunday Worship
We meet for worship at 9.30am in Bowden Kirk and at 11.00am in Melrose Church when the theme of our service will be ‘The Golden Rule’. Melrose services are livestreamed, and you can join us on our church website or Facebook page or watch the recording thereafter. www.bowdenandmelrosechurch.org The order of service is attached. Choir Rehearsals
Melrose Church Choir rehearsals have resumed in the Church Hall on Sunday mornings at 10.00am. New members will be made very welcome.
Tea and Coffee
Tea and coffee will be served in the Church Hall after worship in Melrose.
Before coming to worship and meeting up with those from other households you are asked to take a Lateral Flow Test. Facemasks must be worn, unless exempt, and 1 metre distancing observed, 2 metres for those unmasked.
Other worship opportunities
There are other worship opportunities on Sunday. On BBC2 Songs of Praise is at 1.15pm. New Every Sunday is at 7.30am on Radio Scotland and Sunday Worship at 8.10am on Radio 4. Both will be available afterwards on BBC Sounds.
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
Communion services will be held in both our churches on Sunday 27th February. All are welcome.
Guild
Guild members and friends are invited to an informal Afternoon Tea and chat in the Church Hall on Thursday 3rd March at 2.30pm.
Messy Church
There will be a Messy Church Planning Meeting in the Church Hall on Friday 4th March at 4.00pm. All those interested in helping with Messy Church are invited to come along. Messy Church is on Sunday 20th March at 3.00pm. Again, all welcome to come along and take part.
Family Service
Our next Family service is on Sunday 6th March at 10.00am in Melrose Parish Church Hall.
Kirk Session
A reminder that the Kirk Session meets on Thursday 10 March at 7.00pm in the Church Hall.
